Field Staff
Directly reporting to: Branch Manager.
VFR needs to recruit experienced and qualified Field Staff continually promoting VFR activities and identifying new groups and supporting existing groups on the field.
The expected field staff will be responsible for saving groups assessment and check all required information, providing training to clients as per VFR product and recommend group and saving groups’ loans to the branch Manager, follow up on loan repayments, and ongoing support to the existing groups, carry out marketing research as needed, attending weekly meetings with lending groups, ensuring full compliance of procedures as set out in the credit manual and the credit product process, reporting and attend a weekly meeting at a branch office.
Detailed roles and responsibilities

Required Skills and behaviors
- Ability to work with minimum supervision,
- Customer service: Ability to develop ongoing relationships with clients with the purpose of reaching high levels of customer loyalty and satisfaction,
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to present information and product offerings effectively,
- Problem-solving and decision-making: Able to analyze and identify issues, and determines and takes action to solve, accountable for decisions made,
- Planning and organizing: Ability to identify and prioritize courses of action needed to accomplish the stated goals, manage time and travel efficiently,
- Financial reporting: Ability to maintain accurate financial reporting with strong attention to detail,
- Fluent in the local language, English and French could be an added advantage,
- General knowledge of Banking and Business,
- General knowledge in Accounting,
- Must be comfortable with travel to the center meetings in the field,
- Must be comfortable working with clients in poverty conditions and understanding them.
Qualification
- Be a Rwandese by Nationality;
- Candidates from the following Sectors are encouraged to apply:

Under Huye Branch: MARABA, KIGOMA, SIMBI, MBAZI, NDORA, GISHUBI, KANSI, MUGOMBWA, NA KIGEMBE
In Rusizi: GITAMBI, NYAKABUYE, MUGANZA NA BUGARAMA
- A2 in any discipline;
- 0 to 2 years of experience in any field. MFI sector or development/social sector background is preferred but not required,
