Job title: Installation Technician

Department: ISP / Installations

Reports to: Supervisor / Dispatch

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a self-starter Field service technician to deliver the desired customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.

Responsibilities (Functions and duties):

1.       Provide service and customer support during installations or dispatches

2.       Tie workflow to schedule

3.       Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks

4.       Produce timely and detailed service reports

5.       Process the documents such as work order, material requisition…

6.       Keep personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs

7.       Operate vehicle in a safe manner

8.       Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols

9.       Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organization

10.   Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations

11.   Build positive relationships with customers

Performance Measures and Targets:

  • Perform installation/maintenance in accordance with company schedule and objectives
  • Ensure Customer Satisfaction
  • Perform proper reporting to Dispatch and his supervisor

Experience:

  • Proven field service experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
  • Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
  • Experience in prioritizing tasks and organizing own workloads to meet deadlines
  • Experience and knowledge of health and safety working inclusive of working at heights and electrical environment

Qualifications:

  • Academics: technical degree or certification in telecommunications (preferable)
  • Certificate to work at Heights and in an electrical environment.
  • Driving license

Specialist knowledge required:

  • none
